Mid-game guide — scaling up

Mid-game opens with your second element: the pair choice activates one of the 58 Synchro bonuses, transmutation becomes an economy of its own (219 recipes), and every zone ends behind a boss gate.

Synchro

The element pair is not cosmetic: each combination boosts specific stats. Examples straight from the code: Fire+Earth multiplies Attack AND Defense (combat stats); Air+Electric acts on AttackSpell and SpellCooldown — your attack spells' cooldown. Pick the pair that extends your style: direct combat → Fire+Earth; spell machine-gun → Air+Electric.

Transmutation economy

The 219 recipes mix resources and loot items. Typical example: the Potion of Muscle needs 300 Mana + 3,000 FireEssence plus 5× Elemental Shard (Water), 10× Elemental Shard (Fire) and 10× Slime Drop, with Fire Lv10 — zone loot feeds crafting, which feeds combat. Farm the zones BEFORE buying: half the consumables craft cheaper than they sell.

Automating

Two furniture pieces change the scale mid-game: the Researcher Desk (500 Coins + 500 WaterEssence + 150 FireEssence) — Researchers produce passive research — and the Catalysts (~10,000 to 50,000 essences each) which multiply a whole slice of your production. Rule: one paid-off Catalyst beats three basic pieces; aim for the one covering your bottleneck resource.

Boss order

The Sewers show the ramp: Mutated Fish (lvl 13, 3,000 HP) → Sludge Mass (lvl 17, 6,500 HP) → Goblin Chief (lvl 18, 5,000 HP) → Man-Eating Plant (lvl 20, 8,000 HP). Each boss gates the rest of the zone — check its combat card before going in: its scripted attacks (element, multipliers) tell you which shield and resistance to prepare.

How to read

The Man-Eating Plant (lvl 20, 8,000 HP) uses “Deadly Poison” (Poison element): keep an antidote or an elemental shield before engaging.
