Guide · Mid-game
The group wall & prestige
After the first group, Money alone stops being enough. The first-die price of each group takes a huge jump — that is the game telling you to bring a new power source: prestige and the card system.
The wall, in figures
Here is the price jump between the last die of a group and the first of the next. It is not a step, it is a wall: you must multiply your output, not just wait.
| Jump | 1st die price | × |
|---|---|---|
| Group 1 → 2 | 2.00M | 20× |
| Group 2 → 3 | 400B | 20× |
| Group 3 → 4 | 80.00q | 20× |
| Group 4 → 5 | 160s | 20.00× |
▸ Read it this way: reaching group 2 needs a 2.00M die — hundreds of times the last die of group 1. You do not wait through that, you prestige through it.
Prestige: reset to go faster
Prestiging resets your Money and dice, but grants Prestige (a permanent currency) and a multiplier that makes the next run far faster. The right habit: prestige when your output stalls, not after you have been stuck for an hour. The "Prestige Multi" Gem upgrade compounds every cycle.
Cards: the real mid-game engine
As you climb Ascension, you earn card draws. Each card carries an effect (multiply a combo, earn per minute, cut curses…) triggered by a specific event. Building a coherent deck — and completing it to "gild" it — becomes your top source of multipliers, well before group-3 dice (${firstOf(2)}).
▸ Mid-game priority: Ascension → draws → completed deck → gild. Dice follow, they no longer lead.
