The Human wall & Ideas
Past the first vertebrates, the cost curve takes off. This is where plain generator-buying stops being enough: research (Ideas) and the Mesozoic Valley become your growth levers.
The Human wall
Human costs 1·10^14 Entropy — several orders of magnitude above the Mammal. Reaching this step needs stacked output multipliers, not just waiting. Unlock it: it is the gateway to advanced research and the Singularity.
Ideas & second wind
Ideas are earned by tapping the brain and unlock the tree's research nodes: those are what multiply your generators' Entropy output. Meanwhile the Mesozoic Valley (Dinosaurs currency) opens a second economy that boosts the main one. Alternate: when Entropy stalls, push research or the dinos.
▸ Never let Ideas sit: an unbought research node is lost output every second.
Mid generators
The heart of the phase: from the Tetrapod to the birds and reptiles. Note how cost growth climbs from ×1.15 to ×1.25 — each step is harder than the last.
| Generator | Base cost | Cost growth |
|---|---|---|
| 1.65·108 | ×1.15 | |
| 1·109 | ×1.15 | |
| 2.5·1011 | ×1.18 | |
| 1·1012 | ×1.17 | |
| 1·1014 | ×1.2 | |
| 1.7·1017 | ×1.21 | |
| 4.42·1019 | ×1.21 | |
| 2.7·1021 | ×1.22 | |
| 1.5·1031 | ×1.25 | |
| 7.25·1038 | ×1.24 |
